This breed was developed about a hundred years ago in the country of York. The ancestor of the dog was used as a working dog and it also was a good hunting dog. They were taught to hunt otters, badgers, and even wolves. Airedale Terriors are often depicted on photos and many breed lovers always carry a photo of their pet with them.
